While doing the performance test execution for 50 vusers on the server for 4 hrs, CPU is utilized 100% in the server and after 3 hrs of test execution the RPT tool got terminated automatically and did not generate any reports or logs.
But we have 4 CPUs in the server. Can anybody let us know if this issue is really because of CPU or any underlying issue in the RPT tool?

I learnt that RPT is highly resource consuming tool. Ideally the workspace and load generator should be in separate boxes. How many user test you are running?
Report generation issue!! check the VM size in eclipse.ini file, increase min/max as per your requirement.

Thanks for the response. We have the workspace and load generator in the same box. We are testing for 50 users and the number of different scripts are 50.
eclipse.ini file has the folloing values.

Could you pl recomend me that what is the appropriate values to the above parameters.
It is understood that from the analysis physical disk utilization going 100%, CPU utilization is also going to 100% during the report and log creation of the performance testing execution. Can somebody let me know that how to improve the performance of disk writes in the machine.
The simplest answer is get a bigger box to run your tests.
