   Hello, I am new to this site and have been assigned the task of creating testing automation.

   My company has purchased eTest and wants me to learn how to use it and I will be going to a training for it in July. I would like to get a head start and went to download the trial/evaluation today from home since I read it has a Tutorial included so I could get up to speed before going to the training (I would rather go into the training with an idea of the software so it will still better).

   I went to download the trial today from QAzone.empirix.com and as I was downloading some other material off of their site everything got switched over to oracle.com/empirix and there is no longer anywhere to download the trial with the Tutorial included. I called Oracle and went through their crazy support messages and got to a person who put me on hold for about 20 min and then took down my name, phone # and e-mail and never heard back from.

   So my questions are:

   1. Is there anywhere else that I could download the installation for the trial/evaluation copy so I can play around with it at home (I couldn't find it after searching all day) ?

   2. When I install the copy my workplace has will it also have the tutorial, In other words if you have any variation of the program will it have the tutorial?

   3. Aside from the built in Tutorial is there any other training material that anyone here could recommend for this software?

   1. keep contacting Oracle as it now not available on emprix and not yet
   on OTN also...you can also use Oracle Metalink to log support ticket
   2. installation contains "getting started" pdf ..and have tutorial for all componenets of e-Test suite
   3.search qazone which is now read only on empirix and available on Oracle also....there are many topic specific training content

   Thank you for your quick response!

   I was downloading training material off of qazone.empirix.com and then it went down today and is now redirecting to http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/qa-testing/index.html which is less friendly to navigate and I am unable to find and finish downloading the material I found on QAZONE. If you could provide a link to any training material you might know of that I am unable to find for some reason it would be much appreciated.

   I am trying to navigate through the Support line again to get a hold of someone

   Thank you for your help, Oracle called me back this morning at 7:30 AM and told me I had to create a metalink ticket. When I try to create an account to metalink I need some sort of ID (can't remember off the top of my head what it was) that I did not have so I couldn't go that route.

   Aside from that today at work I got access to the software and pdf guide so I can start going through the tutorial!

   Thank you once again and I am sure you will be seeing a new post from me sometime in the near future when questions arise I am unable to answer
