   hi

   i am recording the script in e-tester.in the play back it is showing navigation failed window(index=0)tag=td text=personal. i am manually goto the menu and click the particlur option in the application it is working in e-tester.when i dont click the menu-->personal it is throwing error.

   but is there any method to recognise the menu and the text how we can forcebly recognise the menu and the particlur value how we can identify the particlur popups give me
   full information regarding this i am facing the problem with
   navigation failed window(index=0) tag=td text=personal

   i am putting the smartidentfication in global is true

   any one know the answer please let me know

   is there any other method to access the popup. and one more thing i have span of items it is not recognising e-Tester
   when i click manually it is working fine. if u dont click it is throwing

   navigation failed: Failed to find element
   window(index=0).Popup(Index=0).Tag(TD)(text=30|text="Personal")at Index 2 (page 6 in e-tester)

   how to solve this issue. when i run the same script in e-navigator it is throwing the error in page 14 here it is moving to another page also with out clicking any thing. working around 60% script at last it is showing navigation faild /aspx/detection id?

   so first how we can solve the issue in e-Tester with out manual click. and how we can solve the issue in e-Navigator

   please any one can know how to solve please let me know
   e navigatot i am comparing to vu display result some view state is diffrent i corrlate that but till it is throwing error in e- navigator also.

   any one give me the solution.

   script in e-Navigator uses http request (for thin and java client) ... you may still have pending correlation. varify your requests and response properly and check whcih page it is failing and diagnose.

   sounds to me like you might be missing some events that is preventing playback of the recorded action ... the best thing to do is to look and see if there are other events that should be recorded. you could look in the source html or try to inspect the related tags with the get element by path button. once you have the missing event you can either add it manually or enable it before recording.
