   hi,
   I am a bit confused with Quality Center 9.0 and Test Director. Are the two same or different?

   If both are same, can i work with Sybase database.

   Quality Center 9.0 does not support the Sybase database. Please search the forum for more details about the differences, there are several posts regarding this issue.

   QC is "Powered by TD". They are not the same yet, but the word is that the next release QC10 will be just that. There will be no more TD. QC was initially the nice user-friendly front end for TD offering a few more features than TD itself, like running on Linux. But next year they will be fully integrated, at least that is what Mercury is saying.
